My Story
I am a dentist and practice owner at Long Crendon Dental. After graduating from Newcastle University in 2011, I completed my Dental Foundation Training with the Northern Deanery at Osborne Dental in Jesmond, Newcastle – a practice recognised as BDA Good Practice of the Year during this imformative year.

My commitment to clinical excellence led me to pursue a post-graduate certificate in Implant Dentistry, allowing me to develop specialised expertise in comprehensive implant rehabilitation. I am proud to be a member of the International Team for Implantology, the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons England and the College of General Dentistry, affiliations that reflect my dedication to maintaining the highest standards of dental practice.

My career took an unconventional path when I was commissioned as an Officer in the Army Medical Services in 2012. Following training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, I served for three years in Germany, where I balanced my clinical responsibilities with representing the Army Rugby team – an experience that culminated in playing in the 2016 Army vs. Navy match at a sold-out Twickenham Stadium.

My military service culminated with deployment to South Sudan in 2017 as part of a UN peacekeeping mission, where our UK taskforce established a comprehensive hospital facility in Bentiu. This experience developed my ability to deliver quality dental care even in challenging environments.

Upon completing my military service and returning to civilian practice, Sophie, my wife, and I relocated to Oxfordshire in 2018. We began working at Long Crendon Dental alongside my mother before proudly taking over as practice owners in 2022 when Maddy retired after 30 years of dedicated service to the community.

My approach to dentistry is built on kindness and understanding. I believe in taking the time to listen and develop a personalised treatment plans that address functional needs and aesthetic concerns. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry while applying my specialised training in implant rehabilitation to help patients restore both function and confidence with comprehensive dental care.
